COVID 19 – Cancellation policy –
please read before you make a booking with us or any 3rd party supplier…
We understand we are faced with uncertain times since April 2020 and everyone should be fully aware of cancelling a booking causes extreme distress to all parties, and to date extreme losses to us as a family business. To that end, we make our policies for cancellations and refunds very clear per terms and conditions set at the date of booking. From 30 June 2021, our strict cancellation policy will apply regarding Coronavirus lockdowns – please see updated policy below. We recommend not booking unless you are absolutely certain of your dates as there is A STRICT no refunds policy if your travel plans need to change. Self insurance is highly recommended – that is where you assume the full risk of not being able to come and cover those costs.

CANCELLATION POLICY – IN RELATION TO YOUR AREA BEING DESIGNATED A “HOTSPOT” AFTER YOU HAVE MADE YOUR BOOKING:
Please check the situation where you live and in the Northern Territory prior to booking. If unsure, we advise you to not book until closer to your date of arrival (as this is the safest thing to do) when it is safe to travel to Darwin and return. However, if either your place of residence or Darwin is officially stated to be a COVID hotspot with government restrictions in place after you book . (This means on official Government websites related to COVID only).
- If your booking is due to arrive in more than 14 days, you may cancel your booking, however there is a 25% cancellation fee.
- If your booking is due to arrive in less than 14 days and greater than 72 hours, you may cancel your booking, however there is a 50% cancellation fee.
- If your booking is due to arrive in less than 72 hours, No Shows, those already checked into accommodation who wish to cancel – a STRICT no refund policy applies.
- If you have paid more than the cancellation fees, we will refund the balance less any credit card fees. Please allow up to 2 weeks for this refund to be processed.
- No further credit travel vouchers will be issued for any booking made after 30 June 2021.
